The Tudor rose is the traditional heraldic emblem of England and originated following the War of the Roses.
This Tudor rose is hand crafted from layers of duchess satin, lavishly machine embroidered and hand embellished with glass pearls and gold beads. It makes a stylish statement when worn on a dress, coat, jacket or hat.
The rose measures 7cm wide and 7cm high and is presented in a 9cm square gift box.
The brooch is quite robust and durable but care is recommended when handling and storing. Water should not damage the brooch but to avoid any distortion of the fabric it is recommended that you do not submerge in water, flatten, iron or subject to high temperatures.
