This leaf brooch is made from layers of polyester fabric, machine embroidered, melted and hand painted to achieve a delicate and fragile appearance. Yet the leaves are much more robust than they look and make a beautiful adornment for a coat, dress or even pinned onto a hat. The leaves are lightweight and flexible so perfect for blouses or t-shirts but also robust enough to wear on winter coats.
The edges have been sealed so that the fabric won’t fray and the stitching won’t unravel. The reverse of the brooch is backed with solft felt and a 32mm brooch pin with safety clasp.
Due to the hand-crafted nature some slight variations may occur. The leaves are flexible and can be flattened or bent into shape by hand if required.
